I said yes before I was ready

I said yes before I was ready. Here's what that built.
September 2025, I started posting about padel on Instagram because I couldn't find the information I was looking for when I travelled city to city.
Prices. Locations. Where to play. Weekly events and tournaments. So I made it myself.
I wasn't ready. But I said yes anyway. Yes to my first reel. Yes to educational carousels. Yes to my first interview reel series, though I barely knew how to edit. Yes to my first collab. Yes to my first paid post. (And I'm open for more.) For someone who was barely online and only making static posts, that was a lot of firsts.
My account didn't blow up.
I grew from 1K to 1.8K followers. Still small by most measures.
But one carousel post reached 1.5 million views. Monthly views now sit around 100K. I stopped counting leads, barters, collabs, and more.
More than the numbers, the people who showed up surprised me. I thought casual players would follow.
Instead: club owners, investors, international coaches, people building something or looking to bring something to market. From Thailand, Indonesia, Spain, Sweden, Hong Kong, UAE, and more.
Serious people with serious questions. From both sides of the world. I didn't plan for that. I just kept showing up.
I'm at a point now where something feels possible. I don't know exactly what that looks like yet in the padel scene.
But I know it started from simply saying yes.
What's something you said yes to before you felt ready?
